The location is sufficient in size to support up to one hundred flyers and spectators.\u00a0 Their are houses and power lines surrounding the field so it is important to bring rockets down on the field.\u00a0 Launches are either\u00a0one or two day and are generally held in April, May, June (WheatChex), and October, but have been held in March, September, and November as well.\u00a0 Overnight camping is available for the 2 day launches.<\/p>\n<h4>Location<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The Spokane SPARC launch site is located approximately 4 miles south of the city of Deer Park, WA and about 15 miles north of I-90 running through Spokane, WA.\u00a0 The site is about 1.5 miles west of US 395 on the south side of Wild Rose in a farmer&#8217;s field.<\/p>\n<h4>Facilities<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Water:<\/strong> No available water<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Electricity:<\/strong> No<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Sewer\/RV Dump:<\/strong> No<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Porta-potties:<\/strong> Yes<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Cellular Service:<\/strong> Yes<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Food:<\/strong> There are no on-site food vendors or facilities. Winds average 0-5 mph, lower in the AM or mid-day, with peaks to 15 mph. There is a neglible chance of rain during summer months.
